  5. It might be me, but there's something wrong about a Santa Claus pumpkin! It's like seeing the Halloween decorations right next to the Christmas ones at the big box stores!

But amazing pics. Can you imagine the hours it took to carve all those?!

  7. Portia - Normally, they last a long time here too. But we had such warm weather at first, at only two weeks into the festival, they were alread looking gummy. :(

Mynx - They are. :) The theme is "Around The World." There were pumpkins representing the whole world.

ADoC - I know, but it was so cool. They even had a snow machine set up so it would "snow" at that part of the trail. And, some of the pumokins take 12-14 hours to carve.

Ami - This one was at the zoo. But if you'd like to do your own next year I'm sure you could manage some child labor. :)

  9. I love that VooDoo that YooDoo! (sorry, couldn't help myself.) I would have spent hours staring at those incredible displays, and my boys would have been taking notes!

  10. That was awesome! Makes me realize however that I didn't take my kids to "Boo at the Zoo" this year. I hope they don't notice...

  11. Wow! Those are some awesome pumpkins! Oh, and(ahem) those were wooden acorns in my photo. We do have real ones around here, but I got impatient and paid 25 cents each for fake ones. I know there's a good nut joke in there somewhere, but I'm a little slow tonight. :)
